I have been busy and getting behind as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. They might fire me if I don't get to Kobelco excavators fixed tomorrow. Getting my *ss kicked by them. Electrical problems. I hate wiring. My wife is a charge Nurse. She is working over time and laying other nurses off. They cut the staff in her clinic in half.

I am a registered nurse. If you want to get really particular I'm a circulating nurse. Means I'm in the operating room coordinating patient care, anesthesia, supplies, surgical site preparation, etc. An average case load for our area is 45 surgeries per day distributed over 17 rooms. We're self strangulating down to 6 rooms and anywhere from 12-20 cases per day. Two additional operating rooms are kept on standby for trauma. I think there have been 8 RNs that have been furloughed in my department alone. Pre-op is a ghost town. I got 20 hours last week which is better than the 8 hours the pre-op nurses have been getting per week. There are 2 positive cases in my hospital.

Work is a shitty place to be right now.

I sure hope no one confuses circle with circum in your pre-op...

Been on the road driving a truck across the country for almost 2 weeks now with a trainer. I'm supposed to solo out in a few days and get my own truck. If there's anything good that's came of this pandemic, it's the reduced traffic.

It's not really training if you are not driving with all of the idiots that are usually on the road.

I was sitting in the office when my boss got one of those calls, he played along, acted all interested, asked a few questions, then they asked him for the car details. He said as soon as "63 Galaxie" left his lips, all he heard was a click, followed by silence 😆

I work in power infrastructure so no, not me ... I should have stated that Monday is the beginning of Week 6 (not Sunday at 3:30) so sorry for not being clear

For telemarketers, before caller ID I sometimes started speaking nonsense -- or answered their questions but in a different language, that was always fun -- and make them hang-up.
