in highschool me and my friends all had american muscle. i had an 87 cutlass. my friends had a 94 thunderbird with a 4.6 V8. a 89 camaro convertable, a 95 dodge ram pace car edition. now they all got civics. i moved up to a 86 cutlass with minimal rust and i put a chevy 350 in it.

Alright let me clear some air in here as far as imports go. I have nothing against imports whatsoever. I'd be willing to go pick up an 82' nissan 280zx with twin turbos, thats only cause I know where ones at and it has 7000 origional miles lol. As far as imports and ricers go, I'm referring to the jacka** ones that go around reving the crap out of those stainless mufflers kids slap on and go drifting around muscle car shows and meetings just to show off. Those are the kinds of imports i'm talking about. The rest of you guys that drive imports catch a lot of hell and get a bad rep from those kinds of guys.

The 95 chevy truck had a 300 horse 350, the 87 cutlass is still 307 powered, the 94 t-bird is getting a 5.4 swapped in, and the 02 hd is moms.
I do own 2 imports but they are bikes. I am 22.

Hah, it's kinda funny some of those imports, i recently went to a "all classes welcome" car show, only thing there were imports and i went with a Dodge Truck group. I'll have to admit every single one of those import drivers oogled the 69 Charger in the group i was with for at LEAST a second. it was a slick looking Charger.

the funniest part was one of the imports with like 8 tv's in the back had a background on the tv of a new dodge Challenger. i laughed at that.

anyways, im 18, i've got a beaut of a daily driver ford, a '99 Grand Marquis.

My pride and joy however is my '81 Camino, she's in the shop at the moment but every time i step into the shop and set eyes on it i cant wait to pull up to my Acura and Toyota driving friends and just put the hammer down.

It's got a 305 in it, nothing fancy but i know for sure it'll beat the heck out of any stock import around here- im workin over time on it trying to get it at least on the street - even if the body work is put on hold for a while ;)

I'm 22. Had the GP since I was 18. I half agree with the whole import thing. Around where I live, there are dozens of 'all show (if you even want to call it that), no go' imports. Especially lowered, mid '90's Honda Accord wagons. Atleast three on my block. Some of them are actually really nice looking, but alot are just $300 rust-buckets, with $1000 sets of rims slapped on. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I guess.
