This great guy Gary did all the work. He wanted to get them produced, but the company he went with kinds screwed him. It never made it into production. I happened to be in the middle of a long e-mail conversation with him (I had a link to his company on my website and was helping find a buyer for his wheel plans) when the subject of selling the Prototype and the 4 unassembled wheels came up. Next thing ya know, they're mine :D:D:LOL::love::love:

I feel extremely lucky.

I also have to assemble them though, which is a little scary. I have to make a jig to set the backspace and have it not be wonky.

I'm gonna get it done one way or another.

My Harland Sharp Roller Rockers came in

I wonder if Harland made Comp's? I don't have a pic in the package but they look awfully familiar minus the color. Comp has gone to the gold color too though. Excuse my filthy motor. It has needed a bath for [now] OVER 3 years.

Hard to say now a days. It seems a lot of places have consolidated their parts to cut costs. A gear box rebuild kit will be made by only a few companies, but sold in a different package by a bunch. I hear Morel Lifters are sold by a bunch of cam companies in a repackaged box (sometimes for a lot more $$$). Just the way it is I guess.

Excuse my filthy motor. It has needed a bath for [now] OVER 3 years.

Be happy. I have a block in a bag in the basement and my heads are in a box.

Is the engine done? I got Morel roller lifters from Mark for around $300, and my cam from Travato for about the same. I like Bill's cam profiles.
Edit: call Bill!
