Popping back in & bumping this up TTT. Maybe we'll see some updates soon.

I'm still decoding spindle/brake/hub assembly widths to determine the path needed on mine. Tested an 18x8.5 wheel w/5.130"BS on the current front stock brake set-up (dropped spindles & stock brakes) & the fit is good. Cant go wider though w/o either raising the height (not the path I want) or doing wheels w/more BS which means 'custom' or limited options. This stuff sucks sometimes when sorting through all the info.

Hope all is well.
I'm running 18x9.5 on the front with 5.25" backspacing. Using the Blazer spindle setup. Also have RideTech front suspension.

Yes sir. Your combo is in my notes. That set-up isn't as low as mine so the BS likely wouldn't work w/o contacting the fender lips.

I had another phone conversation w/a vendor last night that helped direct my path. At this point I'm going to pull the trigger on ordering the next phase of parts for my big-brake/front end upgrades. Hoping to see some updates from superbon54. though.

Wow. You're lower than 25" to the fender lip? That's low....

2" g-body drop spindles; 1" 600# spring; & 25" tall front tires are the current combo. Revised will be 1" drop 'tall' spindles; same coils, & 25.7" tall tires.

It will gain needed ground clearance but be taller into the wheel well.

Hey guys, I’m humbled that you’re thinking of the build and looking for updates! Anyways, not much to talk about on the build front. Around the holidays I got pretty pissed because everything I wanted to do was being held up by some part or parts that were on seemingly indefinite backorder. To keep from lighting it on fire I just walked away from the whole project. Parts have started to pile up but now with kids sports and everything opening back up my next 2 months are already planned out, so I’ll be hitting it hard again come August or September. In the meantime I’ll be completing some smaller things like dying the dash (arrived last Friday, placed order February 2020). I’ll make sure to keep this thread updated as I go!

Here’s a picture of the pile of boxes. Extra credit to the person that can identify the most items!

Close. The dash is on the roof in the upper right corner of the picture. Under the movibg blanket are the NOS fenders I found locally this spring. My radiator, hx and oil coolers are in some of the boxes, plug wires and hoses in another and fuel system is behind the front wheel. The tank will need a little fab work to make everything fit, but the dual ZL1 factory fuel modules will feed 1000+ hp on E85 with factory reliability. I’m going to tune on 93 octane initially, but who knows where things will go in the future??
