What did you do to your G-Body today? [2011-2018]

Distributor bolt was loose... tightened that. Bumped base timing from 8* to 10*. 32* all in by 2800. It's as low as I could get it with the stock weights and lighter springs. I had my vacuum advance on manifold vacuum, by accident mainly, and the idle would be erattic and the engine would have a shimmy to it. Swapped to ported, idles smoother. Installed vacuum check valve inline from vacuum source to the hvac ball. Retuned the idle mixture, 16-17"hg at idle in park. Not bad. That's kinda the whole theme with this engine I guess... "Not bad." Old pic, but it hasn't changed much.

Yesterday it was sunny and not raining. I took my car for a quick blast up and down the hiway. It loves the little bit of race gas I put in it and the 50° air. Spools like a mad little six should! I parked the car in its winter spot. They are talking snow for today, so that might have been the last time I drive it for the year.

Sure glad I did! This is what today looks like.
