With that much play, was there any signs of tire wear?
A couple of weeks ago I bought & installed a set of Boyd Coddington "Shyster" wheels. The center cap decals were wasted & for $28 total I created these Pontiac decals. I heated it up & formed it to the domed center cap & it worked perfectly. I might replace these with flat caps later but this will do for now.
At first I thought it was the wheel to the hub moving but then could see the brake rotor moving too.... Yikes, hub bearing?

Threw the clear headlight covers I’ve had laying around for a couple years. The fit isn’t great, but it works. At some point I’ll have to make up my own with a bracket setup since I have my worries about the double sided tape and screw arrangement that GTS came up with.

Put on a new Harwood 4" cowl hood. I removed the circular coil spring and left the entire hinge there - lined up and works perfectly! I will be getting it painted to match, don't worry.
Another small feat today, started to strip down the old dash for the hardware, braces & brackets to maybe motivate me to color & put most of it together. Painted the steel parts cause just knowing they had surface rust won't fly. Even organized some hardware for it.
