So I decided to remove the ccc system
I have the new carb and an hei
Before I start tearing into the wiring can some one direct me to the wires I need to splice into this hei system to get the car running
Maybe let me know the color of the wire

should land me at about 10.4-10.5 compression and 400-425 horse...
I’m about to install these moog 5660 springs
But I do not want or need the car any lower
I in fact, would like it raised about 1/4-1/2 inch
I for some reason, am thinking the 5660 is a lowering spring
if so, what spring would I need to run that compares in rates and yet remains a stock height...

my 87 el camino is getting a new 350 installed soon and I need to know if either a camgear from a 89-90 350 vette will work with a hydraulic roller cam
or can I just use the entire distributor from the same year vette which has a hyd roller cam...

I’m stoked to say the least and the install is going well
Decided to pull the trigger on anew motor for my elky today
Going with a 355, about 9.5 compression
And a hyd roller cam with 224/230 duration numbers at .050
I’m excited today the least
Leaning towards the 700r4 swap
I have everything I need except a shifter
I’m wondering if my stock three speed shifter will work or will I need a four speed auto shifter
If so, does anyone know where I can get one

With a 350 installed that’s near stock I assume I’m not the first and that the obd1 system and the ccc should work correct

I’m told the auto flex version is much much better
It’s sandable and can be buffed it’s also stain and chemical resistant.

I'm considering keeping this 305 versus the 5.3 ls swap
Has anybody had luck tuning a obd1 car? Like a mild cam rpm intake type setup?
If so who does the tuning and I'm hoping to get a 212/218 cam into it and have everything working
soon to start a 5.3 swap
I'm going to install the factory r4 compressor using the Holley ac mount. It's a new compressor so why not right
And one have hoses figured out? Lengths ect?

Reason I'm asking is I just replaced my alternator
It started showing a discharge most of the time on the factory gauge
So I replaced it and I'm showing a discharge still
At idle it's dropping down to 8-9 volts indicated
And at 2500 rpm cruise it shows a 12-12.5 area tops
Measured at battery...
