really nice and did you say you doing this for your cousin?........anyone have a good link to track down your family tree?...

Thanks for the compliments, and yes this is my cousins car. Im doing the work because I needed the money to buy more stuff for the GN, so we came to an agreement. I just like cutting at cars and fixing rusty metal. Makes me feel like a sergean. lol

Ive already finished most of the passenger side, and started on the trunk floor. I dont have the pics because my cousin took the pics home before i could put them into my computer, but will post them by friday or sat when he comes back for the weekend.

I started to blast the bottom

Looking good.

Update: I've had a few saturdays to work on the car so i put the body back on frame and installed the fuel lines, brake lines, gas tank, crossmember. I just started the wiring but ran out of time untill next saturday. Theres probably a few things i forgot to mention, but pics can be better than words sometimes.

It looks great!!!

What did you end up doing for a rear end? I wish I had seen this sooner, I would have let you know that a 57 Chevy rear end is a bolt in. It's a drop out center section like a Ford 8"/9" and a good selection of factory gear ratios.....3.08, 3.36, 3.55, 3.73 and 4.11.
