Nice work. Sandblasting parts does wonders. I remember the first time I used one and then looked back at all the lost time scrubbing with a wire brush.

I installed all my ball joints and bushings today and experimented with some evaporust but with out much success, so i'm leaving the stuff soaking over night I also made some patterns for my boxing plates

Be sure to give us an honest review of Evaporust. I'm curious to hear if it's as good as they claim it is.

well my results are inconclusive at this point some bolts the heads look great some it looks like nothing happened the shifter bracket looks great but has a yellow haze??? the one fuel line clip looks great, now it was cold last night and it does say to use at 65* or higher so I moved the operation inside and im going to experiment with some wire brushes and what not and warmer temp, im still soaking my blazer spindle to see results of that I will update when I have more info, if anyone sees this that has advise for using this stuff please chime in

ok so I just got back from grocery shopping and there is a home depot near by so I stopped in and went to the paint department to check out metal rescue, similar to evaporust , while looking I found something called phosphoric acid says cleans rust and leaves a protective coating it was 15 bucks so I got a gallon so I will try this in a separate container and report back to see if its any better

the evaporust does work but not on heavely rusted stuff it did work on nuts and bolts but they still require a wire wheeling before priming so I think you could skip the evaporust and just wheel them I not fully convinced the stuff is the end all miracle
