I mean, c'mon man, the wagon is basically the slowest thing in the fleet now so it's to be expected. You have a 700hp+ hellcat, 500hp+ TBSS, same for the Monte. That sweet LS1 prolly does feel slow, but it's still cool AF
It's just a cruiser! 🤣After dinner I pulled the wagon out for the first time in a month and got lost driving it around the country side.
For as cool as it is viscerally, it's too damn slow (off the bottle). Or at least it seems that way. There is no real rush off the hit and it doesn't come up on redline nearly as quick as the other cars. It feels like the TBSS past 80 (which hits a wall of air), but nothing like it out of the hole.
I really need to make some decisions about this thing's future. Good isn't good enough. The plan was for a 10.9 - it's nowhere near there.
Unfortunately, Natasha says I have other priorities right now - like making her car fast.
I'd say toss the blower from the TBSS onto the wagon, but the amount of work it would take would be easier to just buy/build a separate kit and keep the TBSS supercharged.
So a 13 second car is unacceptably slow? 😛
Truly a first world problem you have there. It's gone 12 flat with a poorly functioning nitrous kit. 12.3 on the motor. So yeah, it sucks. 😉

As long as it's a cruiser these days, swap it with a poncho 455! Go for cool factor

What is the current state of this (drivetrain)?
FWIW, I've lost track.
some people got all the trouble 😉That isn't lost on me, I really enjoy it's street presence. But, since all I do these days are short trips it is much more apparent it isn't giving me the "trying to kill me feeling". I'll suck it up.
