I know external pumps are noisy, but you’re describing all of the reasons I don’t have one in the tank.

And WTH is going on with the Sneaker/kankle shot Bruce …… lmao??????

Well even with both pumps on at idle, I’m only getting 30 psi fuel pressure at the rail.

I rigged this up to check the pressure coming out of the tank:

And right out of the tank, I’m only getting 40 psi. The pump prime sounds very quite.

Throwing in the towel and getting new high pressure variants of the Walbro 450.

motorheadmike, I believe these are genuine Walbros this time :sneaky:

Dang, the knockoffs aren't worth it with a valuable motor. I found this guy about 6 years ago - genuine everything and he's almost local to me (Philly). We get anything we order from him inside of 48 hours.

Walbro 255's, Bosch 044's, Tial WG's and BOV's, genuine Tial clamps and flanges, Snow Performance, etc. His prices are always reasonable as well.

He specializes to the ricer crowd, but he doesn't care who gives him money lol.

Well I got this unit on the rollers:

Figure out quickly I was down two holes! Replaced a coil on #1 and wire on #5, and it was much happier.

Didn't make the number I was totally expecting, but it was also 95*F and 65% humidity in the shop.

Track will tell the true numbers, but it made 500+ whp, 600+ ft-lbs thru an unlocked TH400 and Ford 9” rear end 👀

Also made 18 dyno pulls and it didn't blink an eye :D
