Is it on the internets? Because I don't have cable.
Barrett Jackson is now on FYI so not sure if you can or not, I am pretty sure I posted it on here last time. BJ is much smarter than Mecum on putting a really hot girl there so that it makes you want to watch it as it goes just for that not even for the cars.

What they ought to do is switch to bikinis so there's no risk of fabric or buttons scratching a car as they lean over to put the stickers on...

Guess who broke her car, and left me waiting for the tow truck?

Cars need gas. Trust the gauge. The rule is: When it gets to a half tank FILL IT!

More gas didn't help, she either cavitated the pump or burned it out.

I guess I am getting my Drag Week experience after all. Fortunately home is just around the corner.

Sounds familiar, my wife did it twice with a low fuel light being on.

Kbut what about your other ride ? ...the unicorn.

I picked up her Colorado and she went to get the kids. 😉

So when you put power directly to the pump and it doesn't make a peep, that means it's dead right? LOL.

I had Natasha crawl under the car with me to show her everything that has to be removed to get the tank out. It's a lot. Then I explained the "trap door mod". She said: just do that, upgrade the fuel pump because we're going to need it for the LS swap anyway.

I did that to my Camaro. I recommend rivnuts and sheet metal screws. You can make is structural if you want too.

Edit: I had a second thought. I'm not sure where the sender and lines are on the 3rd gen, but on an LT1 4th gen it sits from midway to the front. On the LS Juan, it starts farther back. If you think you might do an LS plastic tank swap, cut it out front to back and not the bare minimum. Did I mention the plastic tank swap is the bees f'in knees? With a steel tank, my car would pop and fart mid corner just around a half a tank. With the plastic tank, it goes to about 1/8 of a tank. An absolute WORLD of difference. It's lighter and holds an extra gallon, so likely a wash in weight at the end but oh so worth it for being able to run it lower especially if you're trying to shift around weight and ballast.

K&N oil and fuel filter are in the mail. I am going to drop the tank and stab a Walbro 450 in there because it's what I have on hand, and with the move going on I have no patience or extra money to fart around.

Get those kids slightly more grown so you get 3-4 years of menial grunt labor for free assembling and disassembling.

My favorite is passing tasks to the wife because her smaller hand or thumbs can reach better....
