Yes, it is a nice show piece.

Well after another two hours of my life committed to waiting in line at the "DMV" the taxes are paid, the car is registered in my name (for insurance purposes; she owns 9/10ths of everything we have anyway), and we have a trip permit. We will be fetching the car on Wednesday.

East bound and down.

The car is scheduled for safety inspection on Friday; that gives me one day to fix any obvious issues. And if all goes well it is another 2 hours in line to get it plated next week. FML. Oh, and I will need to conduct the Hagerty application in there somewhere too.

At least now I have something practical I can buy her "presents" for.

Those gears must be lost on that TPI motor, but since it's getting something with legs in the future I'd call it a win.
