If it makes you feel any better I also hope to hit Willow Springs right after that if I don't destroy anything at Sonoma. 🤣

Hate to mention to this guy, he'd a been better off reducing that to 3" and not making that crazy 's' setup.

I am envious of time, shop and equipment though - looks like fun.

Yeah hate to be that guy but pie cuts belong in the trash.

Every weld joint is another crack starting point, it causes turbulence, it's bending the exhaust more tightly then it probably should flow. It looks hacky 90% of the time in a 'i didn't take time to find pipes that fit' way.

Flame on.

I thought the rule of thumb with pie cuts was that 15 degrees was good to go? If nothing else on a stainless exhaust it's an excellent way to show off your I'm better than you welding skills.

Unless is titanium and it's for your 720s... then its $10k worth of turbulent, cracks prone garbage.

I agree. It looks neat, today anyway. I look at them think of those old bar stool/seats that were made to look like they were originally a wooden barrel that someone made into a seat or stool. they were in style once, and still dang cool imo. But there is a more effective system now that's considered more desirable aesthetically.

😉
