Should have just thrown the car on a U-Haul trailer and run for home. Apart from thinking that they actually speak French, the Queerbecoisse adhere to something called the "Code Napoleon" Don't ask. It makes dealing with their bureaucrap all that much harder.

Glad you found the ride of your dreams. Maybe a 383 and a set of 3.43's for the rear end, a set of sub-frame connectors??

Nick
He's going to LS swap it. That's my bet.

He's going to LS swap it. That's my bet.

My three options are:

1. Twin turbo 305 TPI;
2. EFI Vortec 350; or
3. LS swap it.

Each has its pros and cons. Decisions decisions.

My brother loves those 3rd gens. I'm hoping we do one before it's all said and done.

They are very choice. Get one before the pricing gets further out of hand. Fourth gens are now 20 years old and about to market adjust.

I need another catfish Camaro in my life.

Or a 4.3 v8 out of a 90s b body.... an oversquare big bore x short stroke combo could be fun. As long as she's willing to hit 7k rpm. I wonder if sbc cam and heads fit.

My brother and I used to dream about taking the 4.3L taxi cab crank and plopping it into a LT1 block and making a late-model 302. I know it has been done, but we were talking about this 20+ years ago.

DZ302 is my favourite muscle car engine of all time.

Stupid sexy, Duntov.
