Lookin sweet!

I second using the V6 accessories and pulleys/brackets. That's what I did on my swap, right down to the HD V6 water pump.
The only thing non-V6 on the front of my 350 is the slightly longer alternator belt.

The problem with using a different accessory set-up is a lot of those older Buicks had more height to spare in the engine compartment. Using an early-style set-up on a G-body could lead to clearance issues with the hood...

Thanks Blake. I think that is what I will do too. I was hoping to use the 350 brackets so I would have it all ready when its time to install. I think ill keep an eye out at the yards for a whole set up off a v6..

Picked up fan top plate and Fan from 87 Ttype.. on the hunt now for some 70 heads.. 😀

I used EVERYTHING off the 3.8 and the clearance is close, but you will be ok. Just dont try to close the hood until you get the trans bolted to the crossmember, the alternator will be very close to the hood. You will have to remove your hood insulator.

Cool.. thats what Im going to do. Will only the buick 3.8 engine brackets work? Or will the olds brackets be ok?

I beleive that you will need to move your frame pads around or find pads from a 3.8 G body. I used the exact frame pads, motor mounts and the 350 dropped right in,, low stress.

I have the 4.1 buick v6 I believe the fram pads should be the same right? I think I sent a mixed message. Its a buick v6 i was asking if the engine brackets from an olds would fit the buick 350, I dont want to use the og engine brackets on the new engine.

Olds brackets will not fit a Buick engine.

The older 350 Buick brackets will fit and clear in the car, there is not a provision for the radial a/c compressor your Regal uses. That's why most guys are advising you to use your 4.1 brackets on the 350. Go score some more at the you-pull-it salvage....

Man!!
Ur build is going to be legit!!! Can wait to see it all done!!! I can tell u this, since 80zbabiez is building this engine i know its going to be top of the line...keep it up bro...u inspired me to build a engine too...good job..
