So after posting in the new user section sharing some other info and trying to decide on a motor/general game plan ,here it goes . So after selling my 79 Malibu after much frustration I been looking for another car and not find another Malibu or Cutlass ,I stumbled upon this 82 regal ,my last car already been kinda hacked up alot of stuff not right had body rot I did not want to do the same thing again, so I went check this regal out great shape appears not to be all stock besides the wheels and tires .So the plan is to have a car I can drive to car shows go have fun with.

Far as motor goes I got a 427 big block I had in my old car it was 12.5 to 1 ls6 rect. Port heads strip dominator intake 630 lift 290 at 50 duration the motor ran extremely well, I left a car show and drove to a spot with decent concrete did a burn out then went to lunch the car dead hooked and scattered the old transmission th400 manual valve body 3800 stall . Anyhow the bottom end is a 80s 454 block, 6223 forged crank, Crower sportsman rods, and TRW 40cc domes I'm removing the big cam and putting in comp cams 515/520 lift 230 at 50 duration left over from another motor . I'm pulling the rect. Ports (#026) with 110 cc chambers for a set of large ovals (#781) with 117 cc chambers I just had them done all fresh 219/188 valves I gave them a port job (not done yet) ,after doing some math I can be down to lil under 10.5-1 if I swap heads and run a thick had gasket ,I also want to run a small plate system I got . So I got a performer rpm intake and a strip dominator intake both are oval port intakes
