And 1st coat of Por15 on the front chassis, plus some paint on the upper control arms and battery tray. Have to rearrange the garage in the next few days so I can get the 350 out, won’t be long until she’s sitting in that hole

I probably wont worry about the heater box, this will be a sunny weekend cruiser when she's finished. She wont get driven a whole lot, we own 5 wagons & 4 sedans at present so always a mission getting them all out for a run haha. All the other lot are the Australian Holdens, i've got somewhat of a bad addiction haha

Believe me when I say I’ve lived around that problem. I’m bad but my brother is 100 times worse( and then some!). He does Mopar and is over 250-300 cars alone. Then the parts.

Had a big move around in the shed so i could get the 350 out, time to finish that & get it ready to go in. Have to get heater hose fittings etc for the intake manifold, bolt the intake & rocker covers down etc. Getting a little closer every day ;-)

Second coat of paint done & starting to put parts back on, new idler arm and engine mounts. I have to paint up the inner guards so once that’s done engine & trans can go in when they’re ready, waiting on parts for the front end and have to find a shop to press in new upper control arm bushes. Got new lowers coming and ill have to get the lower ball joints pressed in to, that’ll be the new year as I’d say no one will be open to sort those. Lest she’s going back together at last

Merry Xmas all

Ive been out in the shed for a bit haha, got this bad boy all buttoned up. Had to clearance the rocker covers to clear the intake so that 10 minute job turned into an hour haha but she’s ready to come off the stand & get a trans bolted up & chucked in the hole. Good Xmas present for me

Shes an unknown bud, was in the parts car with the low rider suspension. Had in running for 5 odd minutes with a stuffed quadrajet pissing fuel out everywhere, motor had good oil pressure & no smoke or rattles so just crossed fingers & going to run with it & see how she turns out....
