Here you can see the 'ear' cut off from driver's side trans and brake line that has only about an eighth of an inch clearance from the header. Going to have to wrap that line with something. Also got the trans dipstick and oil dipstick both of which needed a little persuasion to sit properly. It's always something. Also number 2 and 4 spark plug boots are touching headers which isn't going to work. All the rest are fine

I used DEI's cool tape for my brake line, as well as shifter cable where it comes close to the header. The tape is good for 400°F direct heat, and I think up to 2,000°F radiant.

Most of the parts stores have the cool tape on the shelf in the "performance" aisle. I'm running Taylor wires and absolutely no fitment/clearance issues. They're close in a couple spots, but not close enough to warrant heat shields.
