Using Duplicolor Engine Enamel, Gloss Black? Man that stuff blushes in humid conditions.

I was actually giving them the krylon touch that I use alot. I knew better, just wanted them painted. So is "blushed" the right term? That's what I call it to since that's how it looks. The gloss goes flat and it leaves an almost milky effect.

Blush is the word I was taught. I'm no painter though. Spray that gloss black Duplicolor Engine Enamel in high humidity and it comes out of the can beautiful. Five minutes later, it's grey.

I'm off the rest of the week, and unfortunately it's cold, windy and raining so not sure what I'll get done. However, I took the brackets out, sprayed them real quick, then brought them inside to let them cure properly. They look better now, but if the wife came home she'd be pissed lol...

Decided to be somewhat productive and made a couple templates lol. This will help me decide where to mount the ECU bracket. The rectangular one is the old MSD 6AL pattern which the mounts are welded to the firewall so gonna use those to base the LS bracket off of.
I have a couple ideas on execution, stay tuned but for now a nap is in order.

So much for that, trying to kickback but the wife just magically bugs me when I'm off. Oh well, heard a bunch of racket nextdoor so decided to check it out.
The neighbor was hauling in front clip replace project #3. He had 4 scheduled, gets them done in less than a week per car. This is #3 and within 45 minutes of having it on the shop it went from this....

Alrighty, got back out and finished up the sway bar install. I might have to adjust the end links in some more, but it's pretty good for now I think! It definitely makes things feel stronger that's for sure.
