BUILD THREAD 87 Cutlass EFI build: 9/13/23..NEW STUFF!

I mentioned in the buy thread, but the blazer brakes are still dragging, has to be the fancy schmancy chrome master as I've had issues with it prior to the blazer swap. Last week I ordered a RHD blazer master and new booster. I can't leave anything alone so I popped the master apart and intend on painting it before install.

Ended up deciding to not paint the master, it'll match other engine bay components just fine. I swapped the booster last night, and discovered something I missed sooner. The pushrod length on the stock booster is shorter than the shiny one. I know 100% i checked that distance years ago to ensure accurate travel, but the actual difference somehow is different.
I realized it when I got the new booster on the brakelights were still on. I reached up under and the plunger on the brake switch wasn't touching the pedal!!!! I adjusted it in.
Hoping to drive it soon and see. Worst case is the master still needs to be swapped.

Well I'm pretty confident the booster was the issue. Went driving for a bit and it stops better now than it ever has! It feels like a car with 4 wheel discs that's for sure! I'll keep the blazer master stored away just in case, but I'm gonna roll with it for now.View attachment 216766

Dug out my outer window sweeps to figure out which are the correct ones i need to order. I'm pretty sure i need the type without the reveal molding as my cutlass didn't have the chrome trim on top of the door flat....guys please correct me if wrong. Also, buick guys chime in please, the 87 regal, GN, and cutlass all use the same sweeps correct? I'm thinking about getting the black bead style for the GN since all my trim will be black, just wanna make sure first. As always, thanks everybody for checking it out!!!View attachment 54281
Ever find out if the regal and cutlass had same inner and outer sweeps? Or if they were actually different.
