Thanks Jim! Getting there slowly but surely. Next up is to get some Ben's set back for the heads/valvetrain, then trans and turbo kit.
I found out last week the cutlass should be rolling back in for reprep of the primer, then prep for paint sometime late July or August.

I had some time to tinker around with the LS today...but lacked motivation to get a bunch of other stuff done. I did manage to get the flexplate on, and installed the balancer.
Now I'm waiting on my dad to show up after work with a big torque wrench so i can get the ARP bolt torqued to 875,000 ft/lbs :blam:!!!!

I wish i had the funds on standby to finish it quickly buddy! I won't have the car back from paint until the fall (fingers crossed). That will give me time to acquire more go fast goodies...the turbo kit isn't cheap, neither is a decent 4l80...not to mention i have to have the 8.5" rebuilt too!

Lol I know a guy that can do a trans 5 weeks maybe.... probably not lol

I'll have to come see the car in person when you get it back from the paint shop. Don't be afraid to build your own transmission!

Ride up to the Ville for sure! I've been debating on trying to do a trans rebuild myself....never done it obviously. It's gonna have to hold up to 600+hp when in boost so I'm sure parts won't be cheap. I should be able to source a good core from the yards around here for around $100 if i pull it.

Yea then you'll have one not 2 weeks or 5 or maybe lol

Well i didn't have as much motivation today to knock out stuff....so i took advantage of my stay-cation lol! However, i made a trip to oreilly's and picked up some 3M strip caulk for my taillight restoration, as well as the weatherstrip channels for when that day comes.

I found Hafrod's "how to" on the taillights so I'm gonna give it a shot. As you can see in the pics they have alot of small scratches, but hell they are 30 years old! I will follow the steps Hafrod took and hopefully end up with good results.
