With it being a mild night, I ended up getting my pushrods measured. No light in the shed, so I used my headlamp and flashlight and got it done! Now I just need to order them tomorrow so I can finish up the valvetrain.

Looking good so far. I can't wait to see the paint job. I'm gonna have to drive up and see the car in person sometime.

It's been a good couple days. I ordered the pushrods yesterday along with an oil fill tube from BTR which is 30 miles south of me. They showed up today, so while at home on break I dropped them in the engine and snugged down the rockers. I still need to adjust and torque them properly, just didn't have enough time. I also picked up a set of NGK BR7ES plugs which are recommended for boost, and they were only $2.19/each at O'Reilly!!!!

Man just read all 62 pages!!! Simply badass! Love the detail and dedication you have put into the Cutlass! Color scheme is on point and I also considered doing my Grand Prix the same lol! Just kidding but I’m waiting to see how it comes out though....

Thanks buddy, it's been a long road so far, but so worth it!!! It will be done someday and my family and I will actually get to enjoy it.
It's humbling you took the time to binge read the thread! My vision of what I want the Cutlass to be is becoming a reality, albeit slower than expected.

I had a little bit of daylight left after putting up xmas lights, sooooo I got my rockers torqued down. It kind of sucked trying to hold pressure on the pushrods while turning the motor over, but I prevailed!
Also, the preload is right at 3/4 turn past zero lash which is in spec :)!!!

I can almost here the sound bite. Your going to have it running in no time and it will look damn good to!

Lol, thanks Eric!!!! In reality, once the car comes home I could drop the engine as is. Waiting on money for my TH350 and some other parts....that $$ will go towards a 4L80E.
The holdup will be the turbo kit, gonna have to save everything extra I can. I'm debating on getting the engine running first just to make sure it gets broken in, then add the boost. Meh, who knows...time will tell!!!
