BUILD THREAD 87 Cutlass EFI build: 9/13/23..NEW STUFF!

Coming along nicely Scott!

Man just read all 62 pages!!! Simply badass! Love the detail and dedication you have put into the Cutlass! Color scheme is on point and I also considered doing my Grand Prix the same lol! Just kidding but I’m waiting to see how it comes out though....

It's been a while since I've been on the board and trying to catch up..lol! and your build thread is awesome!

Haha, thanks again! I've had the Cutlass for so long it doesn't seem like this current resto has been going on for almost 6 years to the day!!!! I screwed up on my very first post, but it was the first week of December 2011 when the teardown began!!!! Wow how time flies! I'm really hoping to hear from the paintshop soon, the anxiety is rising as I want to see it's new metallic suit!

I bet that's a major milestone!! i haven't even to fathom the idea of getting paint on my ride...

Haha, yeah it will be once it's done! I guess I better share the update.
I stopped by the paintshop yesterday to check in on it. Well, it's been there a month and they haven't touched it!!!! I know they're a busy shop, and it's partially my fault. When I dropped it off I screwed up and told them no rush, because it was stated it would be a week before they could start on it. The owner took that as "eh, we'll get to it when time permits".

Needless to say, I was kind off pissed but don't want to burn the bridge because it is a quality shop. I told them I would really like to have it done by Xmas if possible, or at least by the end of the year. The waiting game continues, but that gives me a few more weeks to get other things squared away.

It's been a boring time not having play money for the LS, but my girls and xmas comes first! I did order a 3/8" npt to -6 fitting for the valley cover/pcv system. It came in today so I quickly checked fitment, thread taped it and installed it.
I got the valley cover tightened down, and then put the knock sensors and harness on to button up the long block 🙂!!!!

I'm glad to have that done and prevent anything from getting in the engine, but now I'm at a stand still for a bit.
