BUILD THREAD 87 Cutlass EFI build: 9/13/23..NEW STUFF!

Lookin gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood!

Looks good. Great paint job!
Thanks guys! It's not a huge update, but something is bettet than nothing me thinks! I need to finish sanding the valve covers so that I can prime/paint them, but it's too cold here in KY to paint outside 🙁.

I love the attention to detail!
That's kind of my MO as I've grown older. A little extra time spent to make stuff cohesive pays off ten fold in the long run. I love the look of a clean install with minimal wiring, crisp paint lines, etc. To me it shows that the time was taken instead of just throwing it all together.
I'm excited for the day when I get to renew the interior. I've got some trick ideas stored away until the time comes.

So I got off work early today, and went to the junkyard to hunt for a few things. What I didn't expect to see was the elusive aluminum driveshaft for my swap. Sure enough, there was one under a trailblazer, and I didn't even have to unbolt it but pull it out 🙂. It will need new u joints, a 4L80 slip yoke, cut and balanced but for $25 it's a WIN!!!!!
I also scored an intake cover and mass air sensor which I will likely sell as I don't plan on using a truck intake.
Here is my bounty....

After alot of debate with fellow members and myself on what intake to use on this LS, I finally made a decision. I pulled the trigger and ordered this beast yesterday, and with Jegs having it in stock it showed up today!
I didn't have time to "mock it up" on the engine as I was home for lunch, but this thing looks so badass!!!! It will definitely fit the overall look, and provide room to grow if and when I upgrade to a bigger cubed motor down the road.
Without further ado, welcome the newest addition to the LS parts pile!!!!!
