Naw, they're the right ones, I just think maybe they need to break in some. The doors do close a smidge more than they did when the seals were installed. I still need to call Metro and see what they say, and also see if they'll replace the roof rail seals due to poor QC.
I'll have to see what they say to you. I have a full set doors & window frame seals I bought 8 years ago at Canfield, Oh.
I'll keep y'all posted, I'm gonna try to call tomorrow. I took a closer pic of the passenger side roof rail seal. It looks like the seal was ripped from the mold!

Scott, my wagon door seals were the same way. None of the doors would shut. I went as far as buying another set from a different manufacturer.
In any case, I ended up using painter's tape and way paper, taping the seal down flatter every few inches, with the wax paper between the tape and seal.
This allowed me to close the doors, though I had to slam them. After a few days I removed the wax paper and tape and I could shut the doors. It's been a year and 1000 miles and the rear doors still need to be shut hard to close all the way.

Hmmm, that's a good idea Jim...thanks!!! The doors currently shut, but I have to slam them which scares me with the frameless glass. I will give that trick a shot and see what happens.
Are they water-tight? I mean... if they do wear in - better too tight than too loose, right. 😉
Not 100% sure tbh Mike. I haven't tested them with any real pressure yet. We've had a fair amount of rain here the past couple days, and I haven't noticed any leaks....yet.
Well, since today is the 1st Saturday in over a month we've had nothing planned, I decided to finally install the black bumper trim. I'm happy that job is done, I had to fight off skeeters the whole time.
