Thanks fellas! Yeah its my daily driver. And its parked outside. I did a little work on the bedliner today. I hit 4 different spots up and could not find any Hurculiner. I did the bed last year with hurculiner and loved the results. Well I got a kit from Dupli color. I should have just kept looking. Luckily i had a nice textured pattern from the hurculiner laid on. The DuPlicolor applicator sucks! The trucks bed flooring had not been done yet, and I tried to build it up using the Dupont stuff. Sucks! The Kevlar liner mix is nice, and it dries in a nice satin finish. Imma hit the paint spot up and see if I can find a roller thats like the Hurculiner roller. I ended up using the brush supplied with the kit and just went over the Hurculiner and freshened it up. Looks cool. I'll have to get some daytime photo's up tomorrow. I also took the tint off the 3rd brake light for a brighter output...
Scuffed the flooring up. I also scrubbed the hell out of the old Hurculiner. I used "TSP", Purple Power and then I hit the carwash up and used their degreaser. Then I let it air dry and sanded the paint with 80 grit. blew it down and wiped it up with some acetone....
After. Sucky photo. I didnt have the cam setup right. I'll get a few dayside photos..
This is what it looked like after i did the Hurculiner last year. Came out nice. I liked the way the Hurc laid out..See how shiny it came out?
Cleaned the tint off the 3rd brake light. Made a huuuge difference
Not worried about the flooring since the rubber mat will cover it. Again...If you are looking to do a home roll on kit, go with Hurculiner. If you use the Duplicolor setup, get a different roll on applicator..The Kevlar stuff in theDuplicolor is nice tho. mixed up smoothly. And it has a nice satin finish. The hurc was a little too shiny for what I wanted....Imma break the buffer out in the morning and giver her a nice few coats of polish , swirl remover and carnauba (sp?)...
