I didn't realize how long it had been since I updated this. Last week I finally got it in a position that I could set it down on all 4 wheels for the very first time. I had to roll it outside to really wash it and see how it looked. Words can't describe how excited I am for it to be this close to being done-if there's such a thing. Next thing is bleeding the brakes, assembling the front end and finishing the wiring for the EFI, fans, etc....

Oh and I got a new daily driver. The Dodge Cummins is gone. No more stress over my daily!

Car looks great! I was wondering when you were going to let us see it untaped. You've really recovered from the tragedy. Great work!

Wow! That is some amazing work! Nice colour choice on the roof to split up the blackness.

Is that a '68 Cutlass under the cover in the garage?

Gettin there! Can't wait to hear about your experience with the fitech efi. Also, nice new daily!

Greetings 83MonteSS & all; Haven't had much time to post lately, but I just had to stop & read the whole thread as I've missed being on the forum most of the summer. You're doing some Very Fine work! I don't even care for black, but with the silver top (good idea, less interior heat) & bottom your combo is OUTStanding. And as I mentioned before, not only is the body exclusive, but now so is the paint scheme. Unlikely you will ever see a twin! I had my headers acid dipped & ceramic coated inside & out back in the 80's. They have held up very well & seen 75,000+ miles of use including lots of rain, but no salt. Keep up the Great work, hope to see ya at the Car Craft Nat's next summer. Ol'e Bob

Yup a 68 4-4-2 convertible. It's my dads he bought it 2 years before I was born. Pulled it out of a field with only 3 wheels and restored it. Was blue with white interior stock.
