I buy only Milodon oil pans and timing covers. I have been looking into some of these new 2-peice timing covers by Comp or Cloyes. Haven't tried them yet. In my experience with the chrome valve covers, oil pans and timing covers they use such cheap thin light gauge steel that is never straight and if it is...not for long. Plus for the timing cover you barely see the chrome cover behind water pump, pulley, belts, brackets and hoses or what have you.

Depending on intake and valve covers you may want to set the intake on and draw a line around it. there will probably be some of the head still showing once you mount the intake and it will stick out like a soar thumb, easier to correct with intake off than once you put the intake on and notice it. Looking good so far!

Looks a hell of a lot better than the paintjob I put on mine, good work!
 
looks awesome. only thing i would change is those mr gasket head bolts. i wouldnt trust mr gasket to make me a good air filter, they are pure crap from what i've seen.
