looks awesome. only thing i would change is those mr gasket head bolts. i wouldnt trust mr gasket to make me a good air filter, they are pure crap from what i've seen.

just checking fit, still need spark plug separators and a new air cleaner, but I like how its looking.

I need to order a new crank pulley and the parts guy asked me, how many grooves and short or long water pump. How do I find out either?

do everything for a long water pump, only corvettes really got short water pump for clearance. As far as how many grooves...depends on your belt and pulley setup.

well heres a break down:
Heads and Intake- 600
Pushrods- 110
Cam- 120
Distributor- 110
Carb- 330
Balancer, timing cover, valve covers- 120
Misc (thread sealer, oil, lube etc..)- 100
Short block- 300
Headers- 180
Head bolts, rockers, Motor mounts- 190
Total- $2160 but im sure im missing something lol.
 
yea sounds like u put alot in to it.. i was trying to get an idea cuz i have a 350 that i need rebuilt but not sure how to go about it and cost.. thanks for the info helped alot

yea no problem, the price I set for myself in the beginning was way off due to all the little things I didnt account for like hardware and stuff. I suggest you do find a way to do it though because it is alot of fun, i can only imagine how happy im going to be when i fire it up for the first time!
