so I am still pizzed dba stopped selling the gold rotorz they are known for but these still look good. I will mount my steering box tomorrow. But all my new steering parts are in. Tie rods with spohn's adjuster, center link and my son painted the nut and washer plus the pitman arm. He also shot the rebuilt quick ratio steering box with some rattle can gloss black to keep some rust at bay. I broke down and brought the umi aluminum sway bushing brackets because I had free shipping and 20 off plus summit had a 10 dollar off sale on them. I think they look good. Way better then a stamped steel bracket.
Another thing I want people to notice. The swat bar link on the spohn arms..... its not a bolt thru a hole connecting to the sway bar..... but its a hiem joint on the a arm. No binding at that point. It allows more of a pivot point. Plus the no wear on the arm. Just another reason why I went with spohn's arms. I know I am still a ways away from being done but I feel better knowing I am getting there.

looking great! keep up the progress, and the healing!

What DBA part number rotors did you choose? 340mm diameter? What brackets are you using to mount the calipers?

Just realized I didn't post these. As painted by my son. Rebuild c5 calipers with the brackets and hardware for a quarter of the price new.

the hubs were cleaned up and degreased. Wire wheeled and painted by my son also. Kids love painting lol. Then I brought moog hubs. 35 percent off from advance auto with free shipping. Spend once and get the good ones. And since I got the hubs for 90 shipped, calipers with the brackets and hardware from pepboys was 33 a pop with silver brake paint and red brake paint at 7 a can. I also got hawk pads with a new amazon account that gave me 35 bucks off 1st order so they were 66 shipped yes I love saving money..... mostly because I waste it elsewhere lol

The calipers and all look good!
...if anyone in Pennsylvania or close by has a aluminum radiator support for sale or a 200 4r transmission from a gn I believe is what I was told to look for and you wanna sell let me know please.
And if you have the rear ls disk brake setup I am also interested.

The GN has the better valve body, governor, and servo. Though, any non GN transmission would work with a good CK performance or similar shift recalibration kit.

Shot you a PM too.

You're going to end up paying significantly more for GN- BRF core. If you build up a standard 200-4R core, you can have your valve body recalibrated and CK can provide you with a recalibrated governor.

Jim^ is absolutely right. BTW, Everything is looking really nice. Hope you're physically on the mend .

Thanks guys. I was looking for the gn trans because thats what Jim had told me to find. But he did say I could get by with the parts you mentioned.
I went last night to install my rebuilt monte ss quick ratio steering box and guess what ???
My jeep shaft is the wrong one and my stock pitman arm is wrong. So the shaft I will go and find at the junk yard but now I need the pitman arm from a monte carlo ss 86 to 88....anyone???
but atleast my freshly painted steering box is in. Maybe tonight I will finish off the front brake install. That wont take long but my son just started 4days a week with football training. Go Cardinals!!

The pitman arm can be from any G-body car with an 800 series steering box, not necessarily from a Monte SS. It's the type with the 4-bolt top plate(like yours), not the one with the round snap-on cover.
