my 86 cutlass salon i believe it originally had the v6 /th200 trans before i got it it had a 455 /unknown trans to me. i put in a 307 with th 350 trans my problem is getting the crossmember to line up correctly i have two different ones and they just wont line up to the frame . the bottom one if i go straight across the mount is inches away from the member. if i stagger it only one hole on each side lines up . the top one the holes line up but the mount is off any suggestions will be greatly appreciated thank you

Top one is correct, sounds like your motor mounts are too far back and in the wrong holes...

so after installing the crossmember this is what I got. I pulled the engine and the only holes the mounts match up to are the ones that are at the very end of the engine cradle

Didn't they make three different length T350? Short, medium, and long? I'm fairly certain that G bodies came with the medium version... Is the crossmember bolted in with all four bolts? If so then that's the only thing I can think of. Holes in the trans look evenly spaced away from the mounts holes....

Yeah, offset mount. G bodies, the 2 doors anyway, came with the short 6" shaft. Those are the ones that swap in place of the TH200c.

The length of the tail should not matter on the TH350 mount.

The mount is in the same spot for all of them.
