Jared,
Sam looks like he could be your brother. Thanks for sharing the family group pics with us.
Dad's car is coming along nicely. Before you know it, all the metal work will be done.
Thanks Jack. We are planning to get my dad's car painted by the same guy that is painting my brother's car, if he'll take the job. The best part is dad's enthusiasm. We are all excited.

Sam is like a brother to me. He's been our friend for around 25 years.

Excellent work, glad your not pushing to get the car painted, it will be ready when it's ready. I think for many of us the build and making it your car is what keeps us going. Hope your still picking away at your car.
Thanks man. At this point we are seriously pushing for the 2018 Power Tour. I think we can take dad's car and my brother's. I am still 'picking' at my car. Refinishing hardware and smalls after work on weeknights. When we finish the metal work on the passenger quarter panel on dad's car, I will get out of the way and let him and my brother do the priming, seam sealing, and body work on it an the passenger rocker. It will be hot outside by then but I will probably go over to the storage and push to make progress. Still its unlikely I will spend a ton of time over there in June, July and August. Its just too hot.

Just got caught up on this one Jared. You guys are doing some really nice work there! It will be a beauty when completed!

Thanks Kevin. Much appreciated.

Another good day on the Galaxie. Finished sizing up the patch, flanging it and getting it to fit.

Welded on...

A pic that shows some of the spot welds to the wheelhouse and trunk drop off. I love that spot welder!

Tomorrow we'll work on a little finish grinding, a few touch up welds and then weld up the swiss cheese forward and above of the patch. I think we will do one more patch above the rear bumper. Dad hammered on the metal so much it's tinfoil.
