Electric cooling fans

When I pull my engine I leave the radiator and fans in there and remove my water pump which is mounted with studs and there is just enough room between the fans to slide it forward and get it out.

I went with new Intrepid fans for my BBC they have been cooling my engines for 20 years.

They are the way to go, doing that now to the wagon. Replacing the failing stock gn fan.

Great info thank you! As I said my mechanic says if I do not use mechanical go with a 4 row pusher.

A pusher fan? find a new mechanic.

How do you mount the Intrepid fans since the mounting tabs are on the sides?

That's similar to how I wired mine, but added a light and switch, so the light comes on when the fans are on, and I can switch them on, like if I'm going through a drive through.

That's how I did mine I made 4 brackets mounted to the core support.

Why not a pusher. It's gets it out of the engine compartment.

Well he has to have more room than I do and I made a dual puller fan fit.

I have room for either.
