Have been working on an overhaul on the 350 in my olds (chevy not olds) came in the car when i got it. Had a whole lot of issues like the cheap ebay intake they drilled to fit the vortec heads and paint on every gasket surface there was. Not to mention the welded on motor mounts. So im tearing it down and making it perform like it should and make the car as fast as it looks like it should be. I will post pictures from my phone shortly. So far i have the heads off, the old cam out, the new thumpr cam in and working on wrapping the headers so i can put them in and get the new heads on. Should be a real runner when i get it finished

Drained all the pepto bismal out of the trans yesterday, got the pan off and it was filthy, deep dirt in the bottom of the pan so im wondering how good the trans will be. So ill also have to add a radiator to the list since the old one was obviously dumping water into the trans. Will flush and refill and see how it goes

thranny is most likely smoked..... coolant or water is no good in a transmission and usually a good killer. It might work for a while, but questionable in the long wrong.

Trans is ok. As a note the car is for sale. Got some issues and this and a few others need to go... So the first person to put $3,000 in my hand gets it and thats for the cutlass with at least $3500 in the engine and a deal could be made to have my 87 cutlass supreme and 455/th400 thrown in. Ill try and get something in the for sale section soon as well as pictures of both cars

So I've made some progress on the car, got the heads on and test fitted that pretty intake looks like it will have power let's see if it really does. That's my boy putting the head bolts in, he did everyone by himself
