Yeah, it's funny how colors tend to vary due to lighting conditions. It's going to be a nice ride when it's put back together. I'm anxious to see the end result...😉 I always dug that body style.

Looks great! I was going to go a burnt orange on the wagon originally, but have changed me mind. I love that color! Looks great.

I wanted to paint the gold stripes on the bottom but the orange peel and dry spray was bad. I sanded and buffed the drivers side today. Still got the roof and other side to go. This is the hardest color to photograph I've ever seen. It does look like a candy. I'm very happy with outcome but got to buy a different buffer. I got a Harbor Freight one that's variable speed but when you change angles with it running, the RPMs jump up. I think I'm going to buy a Dewalt if I can find one locally.

Looks nice, the dewalts are nice buffers!

Love it man! looks great. On the buffer front, Dewalt or Makita are both about equal. We had one of each at the body shop I used to work at.

Took my wife to work so I could have the car today.I ended up buying a Dewalt buffer. It was way more than I wanted to spend but I have been through 4-5 buffers in 12 years. On a totally different subject, I just left my local Harley Davidson dealership and fell in love with the V Rod Muscle in all black. I'm thinking of riding my ZX14R over there to see how much they offer in trade. I checked with my insurance agent and the Harley is $81 cheaper in 6 months. The Harley salesman was cool and told me to bring it on over. Dang it. Don't have a car to drive for myself yet but thinking of getting a different bike. I may need my head examined. Lol

I have always had a bike payment but never a car payment. Whats that say? I will tell ya one thing... you will do better sellin your 14 on your own. Hd dealers suck when it comes to trade in's. Most dealers sell the imports off to a bike broker who will then flip them at smaller dealers or bigger name brand honda kaw or who ever dealership. The dealer I worked for owns 4 harley dealerships and we would get almost 100 j* bikes a month or more during the busy seasons and most times they sat untill we slowed down to deal with them. Plus if your 14 is paid for then hold on to it. Different bike for different mood!! I still have my Dewalt buffer I brought 22yrs ago. Only 2 cord changes. Still works great. And very nice color btw. Looks awesome.

although it's a color I myself wouldn't go for (owned 3 orange cars, totaled all 3), I do love the color on that car! glad to see it finally in paint!
