I got the other side striped today. Gonna spray the front fenders, header panel, mirrors(again) and turn indicator housings(again) tomorrow. Hopefully also get the putty work and final prime on the smoothed firewall. Got to work my part time job Tuesday and Wednesday so not much will get done till Thursday.

I get up this morning and its raining and crappy. Real bummer cause I can't push the 55 out into the weather. I got a RH lighted vanity sun visor to put in my Salon. My wife and I have an ongoing inside joke about these. Every time I would bring home a G body, she would flip down the visor on her side to see if it had the mirror. If it had it, she said I could keep it. Lol. Worried about recovering it because its plastic. I don't think any upholstery shops around here can stitch through the plastic like GM did. I'm assuming they'll stitch around it. I posted in the interior section to get some input on this from guys that's had them redone.

You are moving right along, I am so close I can taste it. The car is looking killer!

Well it cleared off mostly so I pushed the Salon out. I sanded the entire trunk area and masked off the car. I shot it with bedliner through a bead blasting gun. I assembled all the hardware in the drivers door, put in my jamb vents, Kenwood 6x9s, trunk stripping, taillights, tail pan, rear lights wiring harness, never used donut spare, and my restored to like new G body chassis jack.

Decided to change the engine color for sure to the GM blue. Just bought an ARP engine accessory bolt kit in black with hex heads to appear more stock. Also ordered a lot of extra ones for other engine parts the kit does not have. I think it would bug me if I did not change this at this stage of the build. It's just one more detail the car needed for the custom but stock appearing theme
