Just got back from the salvage. I bought all the side glasses from his 2 door salon and some small tidbits I needed. I have to go back cause he did not have time today to use his loader to pick up the car and move it. I need the axle from it and they are parked too close together. Its in the middle too.

Been cold and rainy so no work on Salon. Been to the doctor two days in a row for my back. Its trashed

I just ordered the paint from Summit Racing. Indian bronze pearl. It is very close to the original color. I guess I can't change my mind now. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-s ... /overview/

Sorry I have not posted any updates guys. My back is pretty messed up. I've rested all day today and most of yesterday. I'm going to try to get something done tomorrow on it.

This is going to be my favorite thread on this site. I got my '79 buttless 442 from my grandfather that passed away. Threw in a 3.42 posi. 700r4 and a nasty 350 the 350 was too much for the trans. Waiting for the new one then its back up and running. I love it, i love the style of these cars. I will be checking this thread again. It's gonna be nice!

Got my pistons cleaned up, new rings put on, and assembled them in the engine. Got the cam and timing chain put in too. I replaced the a-arm bushings and painted the uppers gloss black. A couple weeks ago I painted the lowers with POR15 in gloss black. I pulled the new center link out of its box and it was too long. I went and exchanged it for the correct one. Tomorrow, I got to go back to the salvage and get that axle so I can finish up the rear end. I want to get it back as a roller before Friday.
