Just curious really, trying to make my mind up if I want headers or manifolds from Holley. I have their complete kit, minus the exhaust.

Get the headers. Buy once, cry once.

Check my Regal build thread. Somewhere around halfway through. Full 1 7/8" headers and the full 3" stainless duals. Sounds good and fit perfect.

Mike is right, buy once cry once.

Motor mounts.

As with the pan the mounts look pretty nice and are well made. They are laser cut (it looks like) and welded pretty cleanly. They come with new bolts to bolt up to the motor, install is quick and easy.

The instructions say you need to get new clamshells and bushings or to put poly bushings in. I decided on the polys and it’s a pretty straight forward process. But I thought some detailed clearance pics would be good. So here you go!

Hello, I know this is a old post but was hoping you could help me with which frame mount holes you used to mount the calm shell. I am getting different info on which holes to use. My car is an 1984 Monte Carlo. Thanks for your help, David

I dont have pics handy, but it's the forward most holes. The instructions with the swap mounts are very good at describing the proper location.

It will physically fit there, but won't tilt back to get the transmission lined up to it. Your choice.

i'm using the holley mounts and crossmember. i followed the directions and every thing fit with one side note, the right rear ignition coil mount boss on the valve cover needed to be trimmed so as not to hit the a/c box.

So you used the second hole from the front...like in the pic above?
