This is how much I had to cut my trans ears down before mine went in. Pretty much flat to the mount for the starter. Add in that I had the AC box removed, I had a ton of room to work it in.

Hello, a lot of good info you have in here !!! Do you have anymore pics of your header clearance? Do you have the part number of the ones that you used.
I don't want to beat in my headers to make them fit. Thanks for your help, David

These are the headers. Part of the LS swap parts directly from the holley swap. Holley makes a killer kit.

Hello, a lot of good info you have in here !!! Do you have anymore pics of your header clearance? Do you have the part number of the ones that you used.
I don't want to beat in my headers to make them fit. Thanks for your help, David
If you use Holley motor mounts in the correct location, any of the blackheart LS swap headers will fit without beating. I’m running the 1 7/8” stainless and they’re snug but do not hit anywhere.

Just curious really, trying to make my mind up if I want headers or manifolds from Holley. I have their complete kit, minus the exhaust.
