Current size is 600, several people say it's to small for the car. Previous owner had a 750 on it and claimed it ran like a raped ape. But the dealership that sold the car to me, removed the carb and put a 600 on it. So I figured if I could find a deal on a 750 that I would grab it.

They are reasonably price and the one I used was just about perfect right out of the box.

Finally made the move and bought the edelbrock 1411 carb. Should be able to do a direct swap and drive it. Since it will be using more fuel, will I need to upgrade my mechanical fuel pump or Not?

A few people referred this to me. But only has 2 fittings on it and the stock one I think has 3...

I used the one on my 9.6 to 1 Olds 350, no problems on the 1/8 mile track. It is the 3 line version of the pump you showed.
