hook it up! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As of right now, Had to adjust the idle (800rpm) a bit after hooking up the cables. As far as the electric choke wiring, can I just run the power wire to the accessory spot on the fender or is their a closer spot? Cant drive the car for a while.....snow and salt on the ground

Seems to work sweet by hand. No binding and not too much play. I like this way netter than that bolt/nut that was on it....Think it will be sweet after I get that bracket from summit. Did I surprise you with the end result of the tire valve? Surprised myself even.....

I would use thread locker loctite so vibrations won't loosen the nut

Current carb that's on it.
You know what they say....bigger sometimes isn't always better. I recently added a holley double pumper on my ss. When I first installed carb, I was pulling 11-12 inches mercury on my vacuum gage. Now it pulls 5-6 inches mercury. Was it the double pumper that I added or something else. Honestly I don't know. But if you are like me, I can't leave it alone. I must find solution/reason why. Maybe "bigger" in my case was not better.

The problem most people have is a Holley is basically a universal design that has to be tuned/jetted for your application and if you bought a used unit there is no telling what someone has modified to "band aid" fix a bog, lean or rich mixture etc and over time gaskets can shrink if the carb ran fuel through it blocking passageways.

Sooo...did OP ever get thrown back in his seat?
Just a typical thread where you never hear the final outcome, I think I am so used to it I don't even bother to ask anymore.

Yes they are. I have several questions about Holley carbs. And I hope to Bri guy. If you have not got the 850 carb dialed in to your satisfaction I hope you do. And may there be many smoky burnouts. Be safe

For some reason i never seen the last to posts until now. Kept the 650 on. Just cleaned it up a bit. Idles more consistent i think with the new connector on. Just the pedal feels different. Probly just forogt how it felt to drive it
