I'm changing out the clutch on my truck and not sure if I really need to resurface the flywheel. I've replaced clutches before but also replaced the flywheels at the same time, so never had to inspect one. If I absolutely have to, I can get it resurfaced but it would be a lot more convenient if I didn't have to pull the flywheel. How does this one look?

Its not a brake rotor where you can just pull a tire off and done.

the trans is out don't cheap out now you will regret it.

Resurface and balance!!!!!!!!!!!

Are those heat fractures at 1 o'clock or did you run over it with something to clean it up?

Surface or replace. I know it's an unwanted delay and expense but it's too much work to do twice.

Ok I'll heed your warnings. I pulled it, I'll drop it off and get it cut.

Yep

balance!!!!!

I thought so, I marked it because it looks symmetrical, but apparently one of the holes is actually offset a tiny amount that isn't plainly apparent.

Just checking, better safe than sorry! Thanks again.
