Ok, I got my hands on a damn near new Edelbrock Performer EPS for cheap...
Sorry, I know you said the fan discussion is over, but... I did the opposite of what you did, went from flex to fixed with a clutch, and noticed a few things immediately. It's quieter, even at high RPM, and there is just a hair better throttle response at highway speeds, though that might just be bias due to "shiny new thing." I hope it'll do something for fuel economy, but the new carb it's getting this weekend will do more than the fan would've anyways. No im spending money on the wrong parts, because people kept that information from me because majority of you didn't want me to swap the clutch fan lol...then it wasn't discovered until after I bought the fan, that the setup required a reverse rotation fan...
After 30, 40, 50, 60 years of experience from everyone and multiple pictures of my engine setup...
If you're going to tell it, tell the whole story...
The ONLY part I'm wrong in the whole fan situation is buying the wrong fan, which was contributed by you guys not wanting to give the information to me to buy the right flex fan because you guys didn't want me to swap in the first place...lol
Again...dead horse, spilled milk, not gonna beat it and not going to cry over it ...
End of discussion of the fan...
At least your answer was more supportive...thank you. 😎👍🏾Sorry, I know you said the fan discussion is over, but... I wish I could send you my old flex fan, but I don't have the serpentine setup, so it would be the same as what you have now.
WTH ? Pretty f'd up comment. Uncalled for. Just sayin. Not everyone on this site has the cash to build big money cars.So this is what welfare dependency looks like.
joesregalproject Who is dependent of welfare here ? You said you see it to know what it looks like, and I don't see it...So this is what welfare dependency looks like.
No sarcasm at all.joesregalproject Who is dependent of welfare here ? You said you see it to know what it looks like, and I don't see it...
And mikester I caught onto your sarcastic *ss comment...
Everyone with a car and working on it on a budget is a "welfare dependent" ?
Sounds like we are stereotyping based on something here...
Is that what we are really reaching here for guys ?
Do you really want to take it there ?
Choose your words very carefully...
Look I think we can agree that Tynan isn’t exactly someone easy to help. Over and over theres problems having him listen to advice after asking questions and then gets mad when people criticize him, for buying extra parts rather than keeping things simple and using what he has.So this is what welfare dependency looks like.
Sorry I reread your comment, my mistake...No sarcasm at all.
Yea, thanks for the "support" g0thiac ...🤦🏾♂😬😂😂😂🤷🏾♂...I loved the middle part of it all...Look I think we can agree that Tynan isn’t exactly someone easy to help. But, as someone who’s been on social assistance for all his 20’s because I’m missing one of my organs? Take that welfare sh*t talking somewhere else. I still work and pay taxes like you, so don’t be generalizing and stereotyping.
But if you wanna call out whats factually be made clear, like how annoying dealing with his posts honestly is? Then I think most of us here will agree with you.
Wrong again. YOU said you did your homework & researched the decision. No im spending money on the wrong parts, because people kept that information from me because majority of you didn't want me to swap the clutch fan lol...then it wasn't discovered until after I bought the fan, that the setup required a reverse rotation fan...

Nobody does.... Until you suggest someone else contribute money to get you the correct flex fan that you want.Right, I made a conscious decision to buy something from my budget that I'm aware of lol...who cares if I made the decision to swap from clutch fan to flex fan...
Here we are changing topic of discussion from intake manifold to flex fan, "parenting me" telling me how to manage my money that you have limited knowledge of...only what I allow you to know about that...
By my comment, it's understandable that I don't have the cash RIGHT NOW to just drop on a new fan...realisticly lol...
Therefore, simply put and understood, itd not going to happen right now...I'll let you know when it does...
End of fan discussion...
