I appreciate all G-Body's and enjoy checking them out. That being said, I'm all about the muscle........

454 what you said is 100% right all the way about my post its pro touring for sure until they see my rims and give me all the sh*t in the world about 24's. so thats why i said donk mixed in. from the pro touring world you cant ride anything bigger than 20's or its a sin. all the stuff they think/say has never stopped me and it never will. 454 im just like you, i build my cars the way i want and dont care what anyone thinks although i appreciate all positive feedback i receive on my rides.
Ahhhh ok that make sense bro. We get both positive and negative feedback as well, hey, you can't please everyone. Although I am not a huge fan of the donk look, your ride has some "donk" in there, but it's not overkill, to me it's more like Donkey Kong Jr. lol, it looks sic though and I like it.

Muscle. I want the biggest motor I can find (and afford) under my hood. Beefed up drivetrain & suspension, mechanical needle guages for everything, and the biggest tire I can fit in the rear. I also like big wheels and modern car audio components too though, can't race all the time.

Contrary to popular opinion, there's no such thing as a "donk-style". A "donk" is a specific vehicle, 1971-1976 Chevrolet Caprice/Impala. Any other use of the word in reference to automobiles is completely wrong.

Q me and you come from the same type of world and style pretty much 100% the same for the most part. you and i both know the real deal behind donks and what not but i gave up saying what a true donk is since these days everyone thinks 22's and up is donk status. anyway this is a nice thread and here on gbody it seems most of all of us want muscle with our cars no matter what other styles we choose for customizing them.

You're right. But someone's got to teach the little children and newbies about the game.

I also appreciate any G-Body. Donk, lowrider, pro-street, drag and any other description. Any car that was had hard work put into it deserves respect.

With that said, my #1 choice would be the Pro-Touring style. Drop it slightly and level it. A nice 18" wheel tucked up into the wheel well. Upgraded suspension underneath. Atleast 300hp at the rear wheels. I would prefer fuel injection and a manual transmission also.

You can definitely not go wrong with a large cubic inch, tubbed out, wheelie standing G-Body! Always fun to see 8)

I like muscle most, but I do like some lowriders and donks. How did the 71-76 InCs get the donk name? I almost bought a 76 coupe, but I'm not really into the big backseat windows although now that I think about it, I haven't seen any with tinting which I'm sure would help the look. Is there a name for cars in general sitting on huge wheels? By the way what size wheels are necessary for donk status?

It's a FLA thing

No

No such thing, unless you own an actual donk.

Im all about the muscle. Both the muscle car look and performance. As far as big rims, I think they can look good if the car is lowered and the wheel wells altered. Not a fan of the lift kit.
