Hmmmmmmm, this makes me wonder, how would an elcamino look carved and lifted a bit with a set up like a trophy truck (offroad race truck). That brings in another style right?

yea that throws in more options... cause the camino is part truck and i havent ever seen anyone use the truck aspect of it..

it would be sweet to see baja/trophy el caminos or lifted with some big all terrian tires

course i would wanna do that with another gbody like this guy

lol, Some guy round my area used to have a cutlass with a snow plow on it (K5 blazer frame I believe), it was also white, goofy lookin thing. An Elcamino could look decent if done right as a truck, maybe.

wow at all of these replies....im glad i live in the city and not the country. i would die if i saw any of these setups you guys are talking about. :puke:

I have to agree with that reply.

Ive always liked the musclecar look. My car is a high 10 - low 11second 87 Buick Regal T street car. I have always tried to keep it close to stock appearing and it works for me. Being White it catches a few of the uneducated off guard. It really can be a sleeper.
Not much into the Donk look. I am sure those that do it love it. It's just not my thing. Mind you, I am an old timer.

(Off subject)Some mechanic thought my car was a "cutlass" . A mechanic who supposedly worked on cars for more then 10 years. Even if I wasn't a car car a regal and a cutlass are to different to mistake being the same. Or maybe its because I have an eye for details. 😛

i think you can guess my preference by loking at the '79, no show just go!
rally stripes aren't exactly "no show"
... if you wanna play the "no show" card, get those stickers and stripes off, throw on a vinyl roof, hub caps, and mudguards!

Came across this elco 4x4 and thought I'd share.. actually there's a few on youtube:

Now THAT's a truck!!

like i said, i'm mixed with mine show/go/pro touring i guess lol. anyway a lot of people have seen my ride and a few haven't. mainly its just to show if you like the donk style you dont have to go overboard with it. by the way, i took the port holes off and im still doing work to it now.
