You could technically bolt on a 307 or 350's 4 bbl manifold but it will be very questionable how much performance it will add. The intake ports are tiny compared to the 330, 350, 403 and early 307. The late 307 has the same sized ports but are in a different spot and were all computer controlled 4 bbl carbed. Yes, 2.5" dual exhaust is way to big for a 260, OK for a 350. I have 2" dual exhaust on my 260, an open top on the factory air cleaner, using a 10" chrome cover and using very aggressive timing. It gives OK performance but not great, I am still going to an Olds 350. Here is the cap you need.

Ok, I understand its not possible to put 4 barrel.....If I change the exhaust, and the future I can change to a 350 rocket It is possible to use the same new exhaust?

Absolutely, Yes. You may need to use the 260 manifolds, since the later manifolds changed the passenger side back outlet angle and went to 3 bolt flange from a 2 bolt. They will bolt right on, no issues. Other than the later 307 tubular manifolds, they will all flow the same. Just don't go any bigger than the 2.25" on the 260, it will be adequate for all but the most extreme 350's.

Hi,

Thanks ! I understand 2.25 is adecuate for 260 and 307, but 350 need more diameter? for example 2.5?

I ran 2.25" on my Olds 350 in my 94 4x4, it ran fine in the upper rpms. For a near stock 350, 2.25" is plenty. Remember the factory used 2.25" single exhaust and that 2" garbage crossover on the Olds 350. Your 260 is supposed to have a 1.75" stainless crossover pipe, why they wasted that on the 260 is beyond me.
