Our 79 Monte Carlo- Pro Touring Project

Are the Rival S proven or are you just trying different tires?

Rival S is the current best 200TW tire out there (according to some, opinions vary). We've used them a bunch with good results.

Lookin' tough.

great looking car and that is the same color combination, green with a tan vinyl top, my dad had on his 1970 Tempest...

Good morning.

The Welds are this: S77B- 18x9.5 with a 5.600" BS. Your results may vary. We use spacers to move stuff around as we need it.

I'd 100% recommend the Flaming River EZ Fit shaft. It's 100% Made In USA and works awesome. Zero steering slop.

Quick turnaround before Midwest Musclecar. Relocate battery with Flaming River kit. Four new Rival S's. Four new Afco's with UMI valve codes. Roll bar. Wizard radiator with twin brushless Spal's. And a Flaming River mini-alternator.

Dear Team: What tires are those of the picture in the post #405. I want those tires!

Looks like a blast. Here is hoping I can get my '87 442 project done BEFORE rigor mortise sets in. Would love to go to more than a few of these meets . . .

I was considering the General GMAX but now am leaning toward the BF Goodrich g-Force Comp-2 or the Nitto 555 G2. Looking for just a little more streetability than pure track performance.

Ramey is nice and smooth on the wheel, that car must be set up really well. When raced a G body we found the 4 link suspension ok on small tracks but when it got to a bigger track with higher speeds in the corner the 4 link didn't do at well against a leaf suspension.
