OK, I ordered the Proform crank rotation tool & a degree wheel from Summit yesterday so I could get the rockers done. Got everything this afternoon, went to get everything set up this evening so I could be ready to work in the morning. They list it to fit Chevy & Ford but... The damn thing won't bolt onto the balancer. I put the pulley on, it fits the balancer. I put the degree wheel on, it fits. I tried them on the O.E. GM & the Summit one I put on the old 305 in '99, pulley & wheel fit. As for the tool, two more hell no's.:blam: Called Summit, it's the only one listed for SBC. Get one bolt started, can get the second to barely get started, the the third just can't get started. Is it me or is Proform hit or miss on all their stuff? Kills my plans for tomorrow. Now do I make it work or send it back & see if the Jegs version works better (& wait until Wednesday to do the rockers?)

Always worked for me.

Keep turning it until you find the correct pattern..

I'll have to get the calipers out tomorrow & see how far off the tool holes are compared to the measurements of the balancers.
