That's why I am painfully waiting until I move south west before I pick up a G Body. It probably wont completely remove the issue but should make it a little less.Welcome to the Tri State area

Highlighted the reason why they came right out.I got lucky when I pulled the sedan frame out, didn't lube, and came right out by long ratchet/cordless impact. Didn't care about floor carnage, it was a scrapper anyway.
If i do mine someday i like the holesaw idea and plugs for the trunk. Maybe someone who has theirs cut open can get some measurements in the trunk so people can cut right over the cage nut.Why not use a large hole saw, and use plugs similar to those used in the non-power doors to close the holes? Easily removed if the area needs to be revisited, and it seems to me I've seen metal hole plugs as well.
